ACTIVITIES
We're a busy bunch!
Our club has something for everyone! Some of our many club activities
include:
Social events such as the spring kick off party, the fall wind up party, and of
course the Christmas party! The spring party might find us line dancing at a
night club, the fall party usually finds us barbecuing outdoors, playing games
with our horses and fitting in a short trail ride, and the Christmas party usually
finds us in the banquet room of a hotel.
Day rides often find us in the Kananaskis riding trails at West Bragg Creek,
Little Elbow, Mesa Butte, Sandy McNabb and many other beautiful locations.
Rides are sometimes as short as three to four hours, but you should plan on
bringing your lunch and spending the day!
Weekend rides are a hit with the club! In the past we have camped out at
locations such as Indian Graves, Little Elbow, Mesa Butte, Sierra West, and
Red Deer Lake.
Parades are something we can brag about! Of course the highlight is the
Stampede Parade, but we also compete in smaller parades such as High
River, Black Diamond, Okotoks, Airdrie, and even Cochrane and Canmore.
Educational seminars are also a big part of our club. We strive to provide
seminars that promote safety in all areas of horsemanship.
